Men’s Health Screening Package
Sunway Medical provides the most common men’s health screening packages at its medical centre located at Jalan Lagoon Selatan, Bandar Sunway.
Health screening packages available for men include Men Basic, Men Wellness and Men Comprehensive. Priced at RM847, RM932 and RM1,336 respectively, these packages are targeted at men of different age groups. Men Basic is recommended for men below 40 years old, Men Wellness for men of 40-50 years old, and Men Comprehensive for men above 50 years of age. However, all of them cover the most basic screenings such as BMI, vision test, blood pressure, urine, ECG and many more. Some of the differences between Men Basic and Men Comprehensive are the Pulmonary Function Test (PFT), Uroflowmetry and Residual Urine Volume (RUV) and Diet Counselling, which are aimed at men above 50. The detailed report included in each health screening allows you to keep track of your health, and you’ll know when to come back for a follow-up.
Women’s Health Screening Package
Women’s health screening comes in 3 packages – Women Basic, Women Wellness and Women Comprehensive. It is recommended for women who are below 40 to go for the Women Basic, women between 40-50 to go for the Women Wellness and women above 50 years old should opt for the Women Comprehensive package. The prices of these packages are different as well, ranging from RM1,009 to RM1,468. In the Women Comprehensive package, patients will undergo a blood investigation to test for Hepatitis A Antibody, Hepatitis C and PSA.
Women’s health screening packages are inclusive of screenings like thin prep, breast ultrasound and mammogram for the detection of cervical cancers and breast cancers. With breast cancer being the most common type of cancer among Malaysian women, these tests can be a great help when it comes to early detection.
Pre-employment Health Screening Package
Most of the companies require their new employees to obtain a pre-employment health screening prior to working in the organisation. Pre-employment health screening is important to the organisation as this ensures that soon-to-be employees are fit to work permanently for the company.
The price of the pre-employment health screening package is RM100. If your organisation has registered with us, then you’ll only have to pay RM88 for the package. The pre-employment health screening package includes detailed physical examination by the resident medical officer on the eyes, ears, nose, throat, chest, lungs, breasts, heart, central nervous system, abdomen, skin, endocrine, musculoskeletal, genito-urinary etc. This health screening takes into account the medical history of the employees’ past illnesses, family history, social history, allergies and such. Besides, height and weight management, vision assessment and colour vision check are also done in the screening. Blood pressure, pulse reading, urine FEME and chest X-ray are done as well, giving you a total health screening before you start working at the company.
Premarital Health Screening Package
If you’re about to get married, you’ll need a premarital health screening. The premarital health screening packages that are available at Sunway Medical Centre include the one for individuals and the one for couples. If you’re coming alone, it will cost you RM265. However, coming with your partner as a couple will help you save RM50, as the fee is only RM480 for 2 people.
SunMed’s premarital health screening package offer various kinds of blood investigation such as full blood count, Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), blood grouping (ABO & Rh), liver function profile, kidney function profile, fasting blood sugar, lipid profile, Venereal Disease Research Laboratory (VDRL), Hepatitis B screening, free T4 and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH).

Heart Screening Package
At Sunway Medical Centre, heart screening packages are offered as well. You can opt for the Standard Heart Screening package or the Premier Heart Screening package. In terms of price, both are RM200 apart, with the Standard screening at RM1,299 and the Premier screening at RM1,499.
The only difference between these 2 packages is the echocardiogram, as it comes only with the Premier Heart Screening package but not the Standard Heart Screening package. Other than that, both packages comprise tests like BMI, vision test, blood pressure screening, blood investigation, urine FEME, resting ECG, stress test, chest X-ray, ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis.
Blood Screening Package
A simple blood screening package comes with tests such as full blood count, urea, creatinine, uric acid, glucose fasting, Hepatitis B screening, liver function profile, lipid profile, urine FEME and also consultation by the health screening doctor. The blood screening package costs RM220 per package. Blood screening provides many benefits because you’ll be able to know if you’re healthy. Apart from that, an early detection of any disease allows you to start curing it as soon as possible.
Fertility Screening Package
SunMed knows it can be exciting for couples who want to start a family. Planning is really important because you have to make sure you have everything ready for the future child, including sacrificing your time for them. However, there are times when couples find it hard to conceive a child, hence SunMed will be able to help you in this matter.
Couples can come for a fertility screening which includes a detailed semen analysis, a female hormone profile, 1 pelvic scan and consultation regarding your condition. On the other hand, the screening package for advanced age women will include 1 AMH test, 1 pelvic scan and a consultation. SunMed has a package for individual men as well, which is inclusive of 1 detailed semen analysis, a result review by an embryologist and a consultation with our fertility specialist. With help from the SunMed team, conceiving a child may not be as difficult as you think.
